Mr.
Hendifar has an extensive experience working on matters relating to intellectual property, including patent, copyright and trademark. He has worked on behalf of clients ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies and leading global manufacturers. He has also successfully concluded matters against opponents such as Microsoft, Inc. and Groupon, Inc. Mr. Hendifar’s patent experience includes the fields of computer hardware, operating systems and software applications, consumer electronics, telecommunications, as well as medical devices. In the field of copyright, Mr. Hendifar consults clients on issues ranging from computer software to book publication.
In district court litigation, Mr. Hendifar provides both pre-litigation consultation and litigation services to clients for patent, copyright and trademark infringement, as well as patent validity. Mr. Hendifar is also admitted to practice before the United States Patent And Trademark Office (USPTO). Before the USPTO, Mr. Hendifar further represents clients in connection with various post-grant patent proceedings, including ex parte and inter partes patent reexaminations, covered business method patent reviews (CBM), and inter partes patent reviews (IPR).
In 2018, Mr. Hendifar was ranked by Patexia as the best performing patent owner attorney of the past five years (July 2013- June 2018) in Inter Partes Review proceedings with a performance rate of 97.3%--ahead of attorneys at national, reputable intellectual property law firms such as Sterne Kessler, Alston & Bird, and Knobbe Martens.

Mr. Hendifar also has graduate level education in engineering, allowing him to provide quality service in connection with patents in technical fields. Mr. Hendifar received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from UCLA in 2005, summa cum laude and first in his class of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He also obtained his M.S. in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural earthquake engineering from UCLA in 2006.
